For all sad words of tongue or pen/The saddest are these, “It might have been!” — John Greenleaf Whittier
Alas . . . not enough writers or Italophiles signed up for the Verona Word/Play extravaganza planned for this coming May and, as yesterday was the registration deadline, I am forced to cancel it.
But you can help me plan for future trips by commenting on this blog post with your answers to these questions.
I’d surely appreciate it. <<Sniff . . .>>
- This trip was planned for May. Is there a better month/time of year for you?
- This trip was planned to be one week long. Would you have preferred something longer or shorter?
- This trip was based in Verona. Is there a city or region you would have liked better?
- The basic trip cost was $1950 per person (airfare extra). How does that compare with other trips you’ve looked at?
- Are you going to Europe in 2011? If so, where? Would you share a little about the trip you’ve chosen?
- How far in advance do you usually commit to trips of this nature — 6 months? one year? longer?
- Is there anything else you think I should know to help me with future trip offers?
Grazie mille e buon viaggio!
